An inmate at HM Prison Manchester has died following a cell brawl that took place on 22/10/18. James Jarman, 25 who was serving time for drug related offences such as possession and dealing narcotics including cocaine and marijuana received multiple stab wounds during the incident and died in hospital hours later.
Wardens and investigators have determined the weapon used in the attack; a 5-inch blade that was found in cell block B, two blocks from where the incident happened. It is currently unknown if this is related to any gang activity; as the police are the under the suspicion that Jarman was part of a larger drug dealing network operating in the city. We have been informed that both prisoners and wardens are being examined as the police explore all possible leads.
Investigators have launched a larger crackdown on drug dealing in recent months with a £6 million bust in Rusholme in January and a group of students in Levenshulme who had up to £2 million in illegal substances in June being two of the most notable successes. Police chief Marcus Sumner had this to say "While the incident in question and a young man losing his life is tragic, we remain vigilant in our work against drug dealing in the Greater Manchester area. We are investigating what happened in cell block D and will find the perpetrator."
There's absolutely no way that this be seen on camera so I think I've written enough for this prop... You said you wanted to be in the film Josh; well there you go.
